NCIB conducted an awareness program at SCB Medical College on March 20, 2026, aimed at protecting poor patients from middlemen who often mislead them into private hospitals for financial exploitation.
As part of the initiative, informative posters were placed at key locations within the hospital premises, including the OPD, Trauma Care Unit, Blood Bank, and Help Desk. These posters were designed to educate patients and their attendants about the risks posed by middlemen and to promote access to transparent, middleman-free medical services.
The program received strong support from the medical staff, local police authorities, and various social organizations, reflecting a coordinated effort to safeguard patient rights. Their active involvement helped in spreading awareness more effectively among visitors and patients within the hospital.
