The Crime Reform and Public Coordination (CRPC), an associate organization of the National Crime Investigation Bureau (NCIB), Jammu & Kashmir units on Tuesday actively participated in a massive anti-drug awareness Padyatra organized at Showkat Ali Stadium under the ongoing \u201cNasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan\u201d<\/em> and the 100-Day Nasha Mukt J&K Campaign<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The large-scale awareness march witnessed enthusiastic participation from members of civil society, students, youth groups, social activists, and district administration officials, reflecting the growing collective resolve to build a drug-free society across the region.<\/p>\n

Senior officers and representatives of CRPC J&K units joined thousands of participants in the Padyatra, carrying placards and raising slogans against substance abuse. The campaign aimed to spread awareness at the grassroots level about the harmful effects of drug addiction on youth and the social fabric of Jammu & Kashmir.<\/p>\n

During the event, CRPC representatives highlighted the urgent need to safeguard citizens from criminal networks involved in illegal narcotics trade. They stated that drug abuse not only destroys individuals and families but also poses a serious threat to social harmony, public safety, and the future of society.<\/p>\n

Members of the organization also interacted with students and local youth, encouraging them to become ambassadors of change by actively supporting anti-drug initiatives and reporting suspicious activities to the concerned authorities.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, spokespersons of CRPC emphasized that the fight against narcotics is not solely the responsibility of law enforcement agencies, but a collective social responsibility that requires active public participation. They reaffirmed the organization\u2019s commitment to supporting the administration\u2019s mission of transforming Baramulla into a model \u201cDrug-Free District.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Padyatra commenced from Showkat Ali Stadium and concluded at Dak Bungalow, Baramulla, under the leadership of senior officials. The march is being regarded as one of the largest public demonstrations against drug addiction in North Kashmir this year.<\/p>\n
